Hold Harmless Agreement & Release and Waiver of Liability

Ft. Richardson WW2 Weekend

By Pre-Registering, I DO HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE that as a participant in the World War 2 reenactment event, I freely and voluntarily engage in a hazardous activityfor my own recreation, enjoyment and pleasure. I recognize that, as a part of this activity, other participants and I will traverse difficult and dangerous terrain and obstacles; temporarily occupy, enter and egress through buildings; enter, exit, ride and use military type vehicles; handle, move and use smoke generating fireworks; transport and use various frearms and other weapons; and freely and voluntarily assume any and all risk of injury that such activities involve.

For these reasons, I HEREBY waive and release from Liability and agree to hold harmless the following:

1. The City of Jacksboro, TX, its employees, volunteers and agents.

2. Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, its employees, volunteers and agents.

3. Texas MIlitary Historical Society, its volunteers, agents and members.

4. All Living History Volunteers also referred to as re-enactors.

For any and all damages of any kind or nature to my person and property arising out of or resulting from my direct or indirect participation in this event. I desire to participate at my own risk. I further represent that I will follow the events rules and take precautions necessary thereto.

I further state that I am in good health, physically fit to ebgage in this activity and have no medical condition which could foreseeable jeopardize my safety during my participation or be aggrevated by such participation.  By signing this document, I hereby acknowledge that I have fully read and unsterstand it's contents and that I am voluntarilywaiving all rights that may be granted to me by Federal, State and Local statutes, as well as the common law of this commonwealth and the United States of America.

No one nder the age of 16 will be permitted to participate in the battle scanarios (with or without a weapon).
